We have worked out a temporary office at our Kirkland Community at 261 Everitt Avenue. We still do not have phones but our staff will be on site from 8-2:30 Monday – Friday at this location. These are temporary office hours and will extend in the future as utility services come online.
You can also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
FEMA is still everyone’s primary resource for temporary housing vouchers and cash assistance. There is a letter posted on our website to assist you with their request for a letter from your landlord.
If you live at Massalina or Fletcher Black, all residents have been requested to relocate.
If you live at any of our other communities, and your apartment has been heavily damaged, unfortunately, you will be required to relocate as well. We have talked with most of our residents in this situation, but if we have missed you, please contact us via email or visit us at the temporary office.
For non Massalina and Fletcher Black residents: If your apartment has minor damage and you would like to stay, please let us know via email or stopping in the Kirkland office location. We will be starting the remediation process as utility services are returned and assistance is acquired. This will be a long process.
We are still actively working with HUD to try to find available units in the southeast. Please remember, those units will be offered to the elderly and disabled as a priority.
If you are a section 8 voucher holder with PCHA, we have not forgotten you. We are working voucher portability options. Feel free to reach out to other areas you can relocate and call their HA. Our HCV/Section 8 staff will be available at our temporary office as well.
As we work towards the next step, remember that kindness and patience goes a long way.
